Thierry Halbroth

With over 20 years of fully integrated advertising experience, Thierry has built his credentials in the digital space from the early days of the internet. He is an award-winning creative director whose passion and dedication has contributed to the brand equity growth of major international companies such as British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Chevrolet and AXA to name a few.

He is well-known for having spent 10 years within McCann Worldgroup, eight of these as the global digital and creative lead of the Cathay Pacific Central Team where he oversaw the creative output for the airline worldwide. From there, Thierry moved on to work on General Motors Chevrolet brand and business as Asia-Pacific’s creative lead and as a member of its Global Executive Leadership Team.

As Associate Partner in EY, Thierry leads creative ideation and thinking across Asia-Pacific, enabling the design and building of brands through purposeful business solutions. He is a key member of wavespace, EY’s global innovation studio.

An active member of the global creative and communication community, Thierry regularly supports the industry through international jury duties and over the years has contributed to the development of the HK4As as Chairman of the Digital and Interactive Committee, as well as Chairman of the Creative Committee for several years running. Thierry is also a guest lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Prior to his appointment, Thierry was the Executive Creative Director and Managing Partner of Publicis Hong Kong.
