Sham Nasaar, Head of Art at Redworks,
Sham Nasaar considers himself a modern day explorer and a storyteller.
His adventure began over 13 years ago when he left home armed with nothing. His mind was his only weapon.
Driven by ideas and what the world has to offer, he embarked on a voyage to pursue his passion in advertising, after completing his education in Central Saint Martins in 2001.
He strongly believes in creating strong visuals that evoke emotions.
“Don’t write news, be the news.” That’s his theory.
He is an all-rounded, integrated advertising creative who is capable of creating brand solutions that are not media defined.
Aside from SingTel, he has worked on accounts such as Lenovo, Unilever, SGX, Coke, OCBC, JJVC, Xbox 360, Mastercard, L’Oreal, Maybelline, Holiday Inn, StarHub, Health Promotion Board (Singapore), Republic of Singapore Air Force, National Library Singapore, Robinsons Singapore, McDonald’s, Courts, Philips, KIA motor, Exxon Mobil, and TopShop.
His achievements include D&AD, Cannes, Asia Pacific Advertising Awards (AdFest), Digital Media Awards Asia, Effies, SPIKE, Creative Circle Awards, Singapore Outdoor Awards.
Sham Nasaar is currently Head of Art for the SingTel account at Redworks Singapore.
