Some Saturday reading from the blog of our chair Christina Force: http://christinaforce.net/caplus-is-back/
It’s no surprise to hear that our Co-Chair Christina Force will be speaking at CA+ this year. She just can help helping photographers.
Christina built a huge following in Singapore, Hong Kong and China when she touted her photographers’ folios across the region over the course of 15 years when she owned The Collective Force. Since selling her photographers agency (which is still prominent in the region), she has consulted to photographers around the world and helped them crack the Asian market. She’s also consulted to photographers based in Asia and Asia based creatives who want to become photographers.
Christina has been flown around New Zealand, Australia, and Asia by various photographic associations to speak to groups ranging from 12 to 350 photographers. She’s taught a class at the New York Academy of Film, and her programmes are sought after and now have a high benchmark, you’ll be glad to know you’ll get your registration fee’s value back with this one keynote.
Christina will be talking about ways to get noticed in Asia, and how to build relationships with those decision makers you’ve just connected with.
More Sunday Sessions will be updated soon!
One of our alumni, Sebastian Tan is an agent and producer with experience across Asia.
We’ll be running the event from The Shooting Gallery so it’s no surprise he’s kindly given us the weekend to review folios too. This experience is not to be missed.
You really must get your work in front of Sham. He’s an engaging and warm creative, with years of experience at some of the top agencies in Singapore, including DDB Worldwide and Ogilvy. After attending our last event, he wants to see your work and he wants to work with you.
Register now for first dibs on this popular reviewer.
If you’re not from Singapore we want to make sure that the experience you gain from coming to CA+ is fully immersive and you leave with a much deeper knowledge of working in Singapore, as well as meeting with clients there.
That’s why we’ve arranged the 2 day CA+ event this July to be held at one of Asia’s longest established production houses. The Shooting Gallery, Singapore has a couple of great studios and meeting areas and you’ll be able to hang out in comfort or take a tour between reviews and talks. You’ll find more info here
We are pleased to announce you can now register for the CA+ weekend on 28th & 29th July here. This will get you into all the Sunday Session talks on 29th July, and will prioritise your choice of reviewers for the folio event on Saturday 28th. You’ll also be the first to be informed about ticket sales..
We’ll have the line up of speakers ready for you verrrry soon!
We are so thrilled to announce that CA+ is back! Following such a brilliant launch 3 years ago in Hong Kong, and subsequent requests for a repeat event, we will be running the next dedicated folio review event on 28th and 29th July, 2018…this year!
We so want to see you there, so please watch this space- we are gathering together an awesome team of reviewers for you as we write.
This year we are asking for a registration fee which will cover you for all the keynotes on Sunday 29th July, and will give you access to tickets for the review day. There will be a Facebook group for you to join, and meet others coming to the event. We’ll be sharing the details of the event hotel and more.
We can’t wait to see you in warm tropical Singapore in July. Stand by!
Team CA+ xx
Tricia chats about CA+ from a outside point of view.
We are thrilled to announce that Creative Asia Plus, 2015, will be taking place on November 14th and 15th in the rich cultural melting pot of Singapore. What’s extra special about this year’s date is that it follows right on the back of Diwali – the Hindu festival of light. We thought that was rather appropriate for a celebration of photography.
So book the whole week (or more), spend some time exploring Little India as it lights up for the festivities on 10th November, and join us on 14th and 15th November as we gather together an even bigger line-up of top creatives to view your work and connect with you.
Registrations for the event open soon, but in the meantime you can Email us with any questions at email@example.com.
Happy (almost) New Year from the CA+ team, we wish you all a wonderful 2015!
